MEDICAL SPAS
Why the Czech spas are unique?
Unlike
American spas, Czech spas were primary developed to serve those who
want to improve their health. Soothing and pampering is, of course, part
of the treatment, but the main emphasis is placed upon addressing a
specific medical condition.
Bohemia’s spa triangle formed by Karlovy Vary www.karlovyvary.cz, Marianske Lazne (www.marianskelazne.cz and Frantiskovy Lazne www.franzensbad.cz/ has the highest concentration of mineral springs.
The first radon spa in the world was established in the town of Jachymov www.laznejachymov.cz. Mineral water from Luhacovice www.luhacovice.cz
is considered one of the most effective in Europe thanks to its high mineral content.
The spa in Teplice www.lazneteplice.cz offers an exceptional combination of medical care, water-based cures and cosmetic care.
